Very nice update of tomtom, very precise traffic informations.

Seriouly? You removed TomTom D-A-CH from the appstore, making it impossible to reinstall it and force thereby force people to use TomTomGo? I payed a huge price for the app so wtf?!

This came as a free "upgrade" recently. Finally tried it and found the following shortcomings: 1. The search is consistently unable to find local businesses that were easily found on the old app. Basically, I have to google up the address, and enter it in manually. 2. The Irish voice I had on the old app is gone. 3. The app mispronounces or pronounces weirdly nearly every street name. "Dr." becomes "doctor".. sometimes... other times it comes out "D-R" 4. The interface is a complete learning curve change. New look and feel. 5. Most importantly, since my phone needed to be reset, it seems I cannot install the old app any more. I actually like the new look, but it appears to offer basically nothing over Google maps now. I am very disappointed.

Everything about this app has profit generation in mind vs. consumer needs. Terrible interface with small buttons and search bar, huge size of preloaded maps, limited navigation with subscription. I understand that the company needs to earn money to update their maps regularly and I wouldnt mind paying $5-10 a year for major map updates, but the original app is still the most reliable and functional solution out there.

Dont buy anything from these crooks I purchaser tom-tom us and Canada gps navigation app paid $113 with tax about year after they removed the app from the App Store and I ended up loosing $113 stay away from this developer.

I made the mistake of downloading the new app, then couldnt actually download any maps as they took up too much space. Luckily I was able to restore the old app through my computer. The old app worked fine.

Need an easy way to look up current destination info, such as house number and road name, distance and time. For example, If its a door to door navigation, I often times need to know house number when I reached there, but for now theres no easy way to look up this info, whereas it is available in the older version.

Great new look. Thank you guys. The app cant find my contacts with postal code. I can see only contacts, which have no the postal code. It did not recognize normal format an address from my iPhone contacts.

The new app does look better than the old one but a big minus is that all those pretty graphics come at the cost of almost 6 GB, almost triple the old one. Also this new one has in app purchases for additional functions.

This app turns an iPhone into a TomTom. I used this in Canada and in the UK and it works perfectly! Much better than the free GPS apps. Saves money because you dont need to use data like you will on Google maps. Well worth the $27 yearly upgrade cost for unlimited worldwide use. This app does exactly what it is supposed to do. Highly recommended!!!

I use this app with my iPhone 6+. When driving, the phone sits in a holder to allow hands-free usage while also being connected to my radio / hands-free system via bluetooth. Because the phone is connected to my radio via bluetooth, I cannot listen to the radio while listening to the gps instructions. I would have to switch my radio to mp3 mode to listen to the gps instructions, but then I lose the radio. I could disconnect the phone from the bluetooth connection with the radio but then the phone becomes useless in the car. The previous version of the Tomtom app add the option to disconnect the Tomtom app only from the bluetooth to solve these issues Please copy-paste this functionality from the previous app on in the new app, otherwise your new app is useless in many-many-many cars in North-America. The rest of the app works great. It is just this small detail that is missing as a key enabler.

I have had this app for a while now. But now I cant download the old one. Now I have to pay AGAIN. NOT HAPPY DISAPPOINTED

Previous application was excellent and I paid for life time as advertised in the beginning. But, cannot download on my new iPhone. This application is a big joke from Tomtom. It is spoiling the reputation of Tomtom big time. Another trick of tomtom to snatch your money. A big disappointment. We want the previous application. Otherwise, we will forget about tomtom for good. If I could, I would give it Zero star. Big disappointment.

I completely dont recommend because TomTom promised that there will be possibility to transfer the account from older versions of TomTom and there isnt. I bought TomTom Europe 3 months ago for 69,99€ (permanent license) and now I have nothing- I am not able to install TomTom Europe, its withdrawn. I feel robbed by TomTom. I dont recommend doing business with this company. Moreover even if transferring the account could work I wouldnt be able to install maps of Europe because now they occupy 7GB and they used to occupy 2,5GB. Completely disappointed and cheated.

After update to v1.2 the GPS signal is either never locked or continuously toggles between lock and unlock state. This renders the app useless. Observed on iPhone 6 with OS9.3.2

This App is not full compatible whit iPad.. Please release a compatible Tomtom go for ipad devices

I cant dowload any other voice..im stuck with english version only..a litle help ..thanx

From all of TomToms hype, I was really looking forward to trying out their new app. (Ive used the original TomTom app for years - until they stopped supporting annual Traffic Report purchases.) This version doesnt even deserve a single star. The interface is busy and cluttered. The menu system is over-designed and a waste of screen real estate. The functionality is the worst. (i.e. why would you provide access to Contacts but then force the user to scroll through every entry because theres no Search mechanism.) Trying to decipher the Traffic/accident/work zones/etc is an exercise in futility and frustration due to the animations and the lack of map-context. Im going back to the old app and paying .99 a month for Traffic Reports.
