Very nice update of tomtom, very precise traffic informations.
This app turns an iPhone into a TomTom. I used this in Canada and in the UK and it works perfectly! Much better than the free GPS apps. Saves money because you dont need to use data like you will on Google maps. Well worth the $27 yearly upgrade cost for unlimited worldwide use. This app does exactly what it is supposed to do. Highly recommended!!!
I cant dowload any other voice..im stuck with english version only..a litle help ..thanx
This is the best nav app in the AppStore to date. The UI is a breath of fresh air and its actually easier to use than other nav apps.
I really dont understand all the baby whining. It works exactly as it should.
The new interface is well designed and built in traffic and mapping UI is greatly improved. Much more intuitive. Huge progress from past product. I also like the map subscription service being bundled with the product. For those who vacation in other countries, a huge convenience. I am a renewed fan of this product. Thanks!

Some bad moments

Seriouly? You removed TomTom D-A-CH from the appstore, making it impossible to reinstall it and force thereby force people to use TomTomGo? I payed a huge price for the app so wtf?!
This came as a free "upgrade" recently. Finally tried it and found the following shortcomings: 1. The search is consistently unable to find local businesses that were easily found on the old app. Basically, I have to google up the address, and enter it in manually. 2. The Irish voice I had on the old app is gone. 3. The app mispronounces or pronounces weirdly nearly every street name. "Dr." becomes "doctor".. sometimes... other times it comes out "D-R" 4. The interface is a complete learning curve change. New look and feel. 5. Most importantly, since my phone needed to be reset, it seems I cannot install the old app any more. I actually like the new look, but it appears to offer basically nothing over Google maps now. I am very disappointed.
Everything about this app has profit generation in mind vs. consumer needs. Terrible interface with small buttons and search bar, huge size of preloaded maps, limited navigation with subscription. I understand that the company needs to earn money to update their maps regularly and I wouldnt mind paying $5-10 a year for major map updates, but the original app is still the most reliable and functional solution out there.
Dont buy anything from these crooks I purchaser tom-tom us and Canada gps navigation app paid $113 with tax about year after they removed the app from the App Store and I ended up loosing $113 stay away from this developer.
I made the mistake of downloading the new app, then couldnt actually download any maps as they took up too much space. Luckily I was able to restore the old app through my computer. The old app worked fine.
Great new look. Thank you guys. The app cant find my contacts with postal code. I can see only contacts, which have no the postal code. It did not recognize normal format an address from my iPhone contacts.
