Requires >6GB of storage for Maps!!

Not only is TomTom only giving me 3years free for my full life time subscription of the last TomTom app they arent upgrading anymore BUT now I have to sacrifice over 6gb just to install the map of the continental US!!! Never would I have expected an app to utilize that much storage space!! For that reason Ive never gotten a phone with the larger amounts of storage space because I felt it was a waste.
You are probably wondering why this review isnt commenting on the functionality of the app itself... Well I cant actually download the maps because it needs over 6GB and I only have 5.5GB free and cant delete anything else... Thanks TomTom for being a storage space hawg!!!
